You can create appointment sign-ups in Canvas using the Canvas Calendar for individual student appointments or for students to sign up in small groups. How students sign up Students will not see open sign-up slots unless they click the “Find Appointments” button in Calendar view. Share these Canvas sign-up instructions with your students.
In general, we recommend saving your Zoom recordings to the cloud, which allows the easiest sharing with students. (See our Zoom recommendations for more details.) However, if you do record to your local computer, you’ll need to upload those videos to our Kaltura streaming server so you can share them with your students.
If you are using the Canvas Conferences tool (aka BigBlueButton or BBB), you may wish to show a short video during your meeting with students.
If you are using Zoom for teaching from your Canvas site, you can schedule all class meetings from Canvas and create Polls and Breakout Rooms on the fly, during a meeting.
