Starting July 1, 2024, Flip (previously FlipGrid), Microsoft’s video discussion tool, is no longer a free-standing app but available only in Microsoft Teams. We apologize to those using Flip in their teaching, as this change happened suddenly.
If you have used Flip in the past, you can download your videos until September 30, 2024. This link provides directions on how to access and download your videos.
Please see these directions if you want to use Flip through Microsoft Teams. Rutgers does not currently have the ‘Teams Assignments’ tool integrated with Canvas. We will post updates when new information becomes available.
VoiceThread is an integrated Canvas alternative to Flip. This media support page provides information on using VoiceThread.
