Copying content to Resources folder

This will explain how to copy content from one Sakai site’s Resources folder to another Sakai site’s Resources folder.

You should do this from the Sakai site to which you would like to copy resources. From inside of the Resources tool:

  • scroll down to the bottom and click “Copy Content from My Other Sites”
  • click on the plus sign on the folder to the right of the site title from which you want to copy content¬†(do not click on the site title itself!)
  • a list of all of the files/folders in that site’s Resources will appear
  • using the checkboxes to the left of the file names, choose which files and/or folders you would like to copy to your current Sakai site
  • scroll back to the top of the list (but still under “Copy Content from My Other Sites”) and click “Copy”
  • scroll back to the very top, where your current site’s Resources are located; a(n) icon(s) of clipboard(s) will have appeared to the right of the folder title(s) in your current site’s Resources
  • to copy the resources: click on the clipboard icon next to the folder title in which you want the copied resources to appear
  • the copied resources should appear under this folder
