Faculty Workshops

Workshops are hands-on training opportunities, requiring registration. In general, these sessions are brief, but follow-up sessions are always available, including one-on-one training at your deskside.

Sakai Transition

As WebCT will no longer be available for teaching after summer 2007, all courses using WebCT need a transition to Sakai. Sakai is Rutgers' new "collaboration and learning environment," designed to provide an online environment for collaborating with students or colleagues. Click on IDT home for a brief description of Sakai and Rutgers' involvement with the Sakai project. If you are curious as to whether Sakai can aid you in your teaching or collaborative projects, contact Emily Corse at x6474 or by email at corse@rutgers.edu.... or register for a workshop!

To ensure that everyone feels comfortable using Sakai, workshops will be available throughout the semester.
