Faculty Workshops

Workshops are hands-on training opportunities, requiring registration. In general, these sessions are brief, but follow-up sessions are always available, including one-on-one training at your deskside.

NOTE: Photoshop Elements and Acrobat Professional are not generally installed on faculty desktops. You or your department may need to pay $35-$55 for the software, if you decide it would be useful. Purchase software at Rutgers discount rates at software.rutgers.edu.

Sakai is a new "collaboration and learning environment," similar in function to WebCT or Blackboard. Click on IDT home for a brief description of Sakai and Rutgers' involvement with the Sakai project.
