Sakai: add eReserves link
At the Robeson Library, instructors can set up a group of electronic resources for access by students in a particular course. You can add a link to the eReserves in Sakai (saves the students an extra logon) using a special feature of the "Web Content" tool.
NOTE: You must set up your eReserves first, before you can add a link through Sakai.
- log into Sakai and click the appropriate course tab
- choose Site Info from the left-hand menu
- click Edit Tools
- near the bottom of the list of tools, check "Web Content"
- click Continue from the bottom of the page
- from the Customize Tools page, click the "Link to Library eReserves" button
- if you have eReserves set up, you should see a list of your sections with eReserves available
- select the appropriate eReserves listing
- click Okay if you get a pop-up box warning you that you're not done yet
- click Continue
- at the summary-of-changes page, click Finish
- Note, the menu won't change immediately:
click Home from the left-hand menu and the screen should update to show your new link
