PowerPoint: adding animation
Animation in PowerPoint makes elements of the slides move during a slideshow. The most common use of this is to have bulleted text points appear one by one as you lecture, when you're ready.
- Open the presentation in PowerPoint
- From the Slide Show menu, select Animation Schemes
- In the Slide Design panel, select "Appear" (or another, fancier scheme)
- At the bottom of the panel, click "Apply to All Slides"
- Now just run your slideshow to confirm it's working as you'd planned--click the spacebar, the mouse, or the right arrow to proceed through each slide
